Throughout the year, Allegacy conducts free workshops and webinars in an effort to help individuals and business owners deepen their understanding of specific financial matters. We offer something for everyone, with topics that include Estate and Investment Planning, Benefits Administration, Identity Theft Prevention, Auto Buying and the ever-popular Homebuyer's workshop. Upcoming workshops are always being added to the schedule, and the topics we cover are continuing to expand. Check back often to get details on a workshop that interests you.

All on-site workshops are held in the Financial Learning Room at Allegacy's Headquarters, located at 1691 Westbrook Plaza Drive, unless otherwise noted. Instructions for joining webinars will be sent via email after registration has been completed.

    Beginning in 2014 the Employer Shared Responsibility provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and IRS guidance defines what a full-time, variable-hour, and seasonal employee is under the law. IRS guidance sets standards for tracking employee hours for the purposes of determining if you are a large employer in 2015 and for offering health coverage to full-time employees. In this webinar we will discuss how to group employees into categories and how to measure employee hours using three new time periods (measurement, administrative, and stability) plus how to use the IRS safe-harbor look-back measurement method to help employers determine when to offer health coverage to avoid potential IRS and DOL penalties. This webinar includes new guidance from the IRS.
