 Allegacy Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution whose members are part-owners. Membership in Allegacy is now open to the eligible employees and retirees of eligible companies, certain family members of existing members, household residents of existing members, and certain communities.
Eligible Employees and Retirees of Eligible Companies:
Immediate Family Members, Which Includes:
- Spouse
- Child
- Sibling
- Parent
- Grandparent
- Grandchild
- Stepparents, Stepchildren, Stepsiblings
Members of Household, Which Includes:
- Persons living in the same residence and who maintain a single economic unit.
- Any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of the household. (Example: 2 people sharing an apartment would be considered a household.) The immediate family members of each member in this household could also join because eligibility is then tied to the member.
- Domestic partners would be included in the household definition, since they share a residence and qualify as a single economic unit, as would anyone who lives in the household and demonstrates a degree of permanency.
