Trust Accounts

Put Your TRUST In Us.

Did you know that Allegacy offers Trust Accounts?
You don't have to transfer your assets elsewhere, you can leave them where you know your funds are safe. Any deposit account at the credit union can hold the assets of your trust. We offer Formal and Informal Trust Accounts for your convenience.*

Like our Informal Trust Accounts (revocable only), a Formal Trust Account (revocable or irrevocable) can have multiple owners and beneficiaries. A formal trust is an agreement wherein a member (the Grantor) transfers title of all or part of an account's assets to a separate legal entity (a Trust). Upon the death of the Grantor, the assets are transferred directly to the pre-designated Beneficiaries. During the Grantor's life, someone selected by the Grantor (the Trustee) administers the assets in the Trust. If you are interested in attaining a Trust Account with Allegacy or need more information, please call Member Services for details.

*Some exceptions apply.

This credit union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration.
