Use your Allegacy Visa Check Card when making everyday purchases at the store, café and everywhere Visa is accepted - it’s better protected and more convenient than writing a check. Your Allegacy Visa Check Card is accepted at more than 10 million ATMs, restaurants, grocery stores, and other locations throughout the world*.
Paper just can’t compete with the convenience, security, and rewards of using plastic.
You can write a check, but checks don’t offer the rewards or fraud protection of a check card.
Using an Allegacy Visa® Check Card to pay for everyday purchases is much smarter and safer than writing a check any day of the week. It’s convenient, secure, and can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. Just like checks, funds are debited from your checking account. But unlike checks, you'll earn rewards points on every purchase, redeemable for travel, gifts, and all kinds of cool merchandise. Make sure you choose “Credit” when swiping your card to maximize your rewards points.

Visa Check Card directly accesses funds in your Allegacy Checking account and is available to use at millions of locations worldwide.
When using your Visa Check Card, push the "CREDIT" key to sign for your purchase, and save!
When you swipe your Visa Check Card at the checkout line, you are usually given two options: to press the Debit key or the Credit key. In the future, you may want to choose the CREDIT key.
Why? When you push the CREDIT key, your purchase will still be taken from your Allegacy Checking account and you sign a receipt. But, by sending the purchase through as a "CREDIT" transaction instead of a "debit" or PIN transaction, you will receive some distinct benefits. Look at the comparison below:
