| A New Free Online Convenience
For You
Approved members can make check or money order deposits online
anytime! This is especially useful if you don't live or work near
an Allegacy financial center or
find it difficult to visit a financial center during regular business
hours.
Applying for WebDeposit Privilege:
You
will find a short WebDeposit Application by clicking on WebDeposit found on the left of the Account Access page of WebBanking.
You will need to have an Allegacy
checking account that is
in good standing for at least 30 days (waived for new members
with Direct Deposit),
and be credit worthy. Upon approval, we will notify you by
email of your WebDeposit limit and will mail you a WebDeposit
Member Packet which will include a set
of special envelopes to be used for your WebDeposits. Once
your WebDeposit envelopes arrive, you will be ready
to make a WebDeposit.
Submitting your WebDeposits:
When you have a check to deposit into your Allegacy account,
simply complete the WebDeposit Submission form
which can be found by clicking on WebDeposit on the Account Access page of WebBanking. Enter the check number(s)
and amount(s) of the check(s) you will be depositing and the
account number you want to receive the funds. We will deposit
the funds indicated into your account by the next business
day. Once
we post the deposit to your account, you have full access to
the available amount. (A hold will be placed
on any amount over your pre-determined WebDeposit limit.)
Once
you submit the form, you should then
drop the items in the mail using the special envelopes provided.
(No postage is required on these envelopes but we must receive
them in the mail within 5 days of your online submittal.) For
your records, we will let you know by email when we receive your
deposit in the mail.
