Have you ever forgotten to make a transfer between
your Allegacy accounts? Do you regularly transfer funds between
your accounts or another members' accounts? If so, then "Scheduled
and Recurring Transfers" is going to make your life much easier!
The "Scheduled and Recurring Transfer" option in WebBanking™ allows
you to schedule a transfer to occur automatically on a designated
date in the future or on a regular basis for a specified period
of time. You can even move money into another members
account (such as a child or a spouse). When the transfer takes
place, you will receive an email notification. As you will
see below, these are really easy to schedule.
How Other Members Use "Scheduled and Recurring
Transfers":
- Transfer money into a child's account each week while
their child is away at school
- Make a loan payment every month without having to remember
to manually make the payment
- Schedule transfers to take place while on vacation
- Add extra money to a savings account every payday
How to Set Up "Scheduled and Recurring Transfers":
- Sign into WebBanking.
- Click on "Scheduled and Recurring Transfers" from the Options
menu on the left-hand side.
- Click the "Add" button.
- Enter the amount, the account you are transferring from,
and the account you are transferring to. (If
you need to transfer to another member's account and it isn't
listed in the drop-down box, have that member sign into WebBanking
and submit a Cross-Member Transfer request under Secure Forms
to enable you to transfer money into their
account.)
- Enter the date that you want the transfer to take place.
(Note that transfers will happen around
8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.)
- Choose the option button for a "One Time" transfer or choose
a frequency option of you are scheduling a
recurring transfer.
- If you chose one of the frequency options, enter the number
of times you want the transfer to occur. (For
example, if you chose "Weekly" and you want the
transfer to occur every week for a year, then enter "52".)
- Enter your email address. (If you
are doing a cross-member transfer and prefer for the person
receiving the funds to receive an email, enter their email
address.)
- Enter the text for the email that you want to receive.
(For example, "$200 has been transferred from your
Checking Account to Chris's Savings Account.")
- Click the "Save Transfer" button and then "Confirm
Transfer."
- You will see a list of all your Scheduled and Recurring
Transfers with an option to edit or delete them as needed.
